Business Advisory · Montgomery, AL

Advisory for the decisions that compound.

Most business decisions are reversible. A handful are not — how you structure capital, who you sell to, when you hand over. Everpoint Partners works with Alabama owners on that second category, where getting it right is worth more than getting it fast.

Our Position

We are not the firm you call for volume work.

Everpoint Partners takes a small number of engagements each year. That constraint is the product, not a limitation of it. The decisions we advise on — a sale, a recapitalization, a succession, a market exit — do not benefit from a large team moving quickly. They benefit from a small team that has seen the same decision go wrong before.

Every engagement is led personally by Marcus Calloway. Not sponsored, not overseen — led. The person in your first meeting is the person in your last one, and there is no analyst tier between you and the judgment you are paying for.

We work almost entirely with owner-operated businesses in central Alabama between $5M and $80M in revenue, most often at an inflection point: growth that has outrun the structure, an unsolicited offer, a partner exiting, or a generation handing over.

Practice Areas

Four disciplines, one partner.

Each engagement draws on whichever of these the decision requires — usually more than one.

Strategic advisory session at Everpoint Partners
I

Strategic Advisory

Where the business is genuinely defensible, where it only appears to be, and what the next five years require you to build now. We work from your numbers rather than a framework, and we will tell you when the honest answer is that the current plan does not clear its cost of capital.

Capital and transaction advisory at Everpoint Partners
II

Capital & Transactions

Sell-side and buy-side advisory, recapitalizations, and lender negotiations for Alabama businesses. We prepare the company before the market sees it, which is where most of the value is won or lost — typically twelve to eighteen months before a process begins.

Operational performance work at Everpoint Partners
III

Operating Performance

Margin architecture, cost structure, and the operating discipline that turns a good year into a durable one. Most of what we find is not hidden — it is visible in the financials and has simply never been asked the right question.

Succession and ownership transition planning
IV

Succession & Ownership

Transition planning for family businesses and partner-owned firms — governance, valuation, funding the buyout, and the uncomfortable conversations that get postponed until they become expensive. This work runs on years, not quarters, and we plan it that way.

We had an offer on the table and ninety days to respond. Marcus told us to walk away and spend eighteen months fixing three things first. We did. The second offer was 40% higher.
